- 実際の実験データに基づいた授業内容だったのがとても良かった。
- 先生の解説が論理的で非常にわかりやすかった。予備知識がなくても理解しやすかった。OHPをもう少し見やすいものに変えてほしい。
- 授業の内容に実際の研究、実験などのトピックを盛り込み丁寧に解説した点が良かった。考え方を学べ、大変参考になった。全体的に非常によい授業だった。
- 毎回アウトラインといろんな絵をプリントにして配ってくれて、それを見ながらの授業はわかりやすかった。毎週のレポートで「授業を◯◯のように改善してほしい」と書くと、次の授業では改善されててすばらしいと思った。生徒の意見をよく聞いてくれたと思う。２時間続きはつらかった。OHPが見にくいときがあった。
- メールで質問や思ったことを書いて、先生がそれに答えて下さったのが、とても良かったです。これのおかげで、家に帰ってから授業の内容を見直したり、疑問点を解決することができました。また、実際の実験データに基づいて授業を進めていくというやり方がとても新鮮で、毎回楽しく、興味深く授業を聴くことができました。
- 先生ご自身の研究など、実際の現場の実験や研究の進め方などが垣間見れた気がします。もっと知りたいと思うような講義でした。
- The handouts were very good visual aid in class. I enjoyed learning about the actual experiments that were done, and what was successful & unsuccessful about them and why. It might have been better if we had some reading to support the lecture.
授業評価に対する教官の側からのコメント
大学側から全ての講義の平均点に関する情報を提供されていないので、上記のmeanという値をどう解釈すればよいのかわからないのですが、かなり高く評価してもらった印象があります。この中で、点が低いのは「学生の授業参加を奨励したか」「クラスの外で援助をしたか」という項目ですが、回答の分布を見ると大きく広がっていて、授業参加の方は二山分布になっているのに気がつきます。これは、メールによる質問と回答を、授業参加およびクラスの外での援助として考えたかどうか、という点で意見が分かれたものと思われます。また、後者に関してDoesn't Applyの回答があったのは、学外の非常勤講師にクラスの外での援助を期待するのは無理だという回答でしょう。とすると、情状酌量の余地はありそうで、まあ満足すべき結果だと思います。
